Nithya Dhyaan – Eternal Bliss – the title says it all ! The book describes the meditation technique to achieve eternal bliss. When Swamiji was contemplating how to reproduce the enlightenment experience that He had had, this occurred to Him in a flash ! Yes, it occurred to Him – He didn’t “create” it; He doesn’t claim any credit for it. In fact, He says quite a number of people began to ask Him for some general meditation technique that they could practise every day. He wanted to formulate a technique that would be a complete representation of His philosophy, teachings and experience; something that would be holistic and work on the core being. And lo ! The result is this book in your hands, Nithya Dhyaan – Eternal Bliss ! After all, Existence is already complete by itself – nothing needs to be created; only that it got revealed when the time was ripe enough for it.
The young guru through whom this is revealed to the world assures us that each segment of this meditation technique complements the others to raise the individual consciousness and this technique alone is all one would need on a daily basis.
There are just 5 parts to the whole meditation technique – chaotic breathing (for 7 minutes), intense humming (for 7 minutes), bringing awareness to the different energy centres (for 7 minutes), remaining unclutched (for 7 minutes) and listen to the Guru Puja mantras being chanted (for 10 minutes). Sri Paramahamsa Nithyananda has explained each of these steps in great depth in a very lucid style. The benefits of each step are clearly brought out. The diagrams that demonstrate the poses are very clear and easy to imitate. The diagram that depicts the different energy centres is very clear and pleasing.
The book concludes with a short introduction of Sri Paramahamsa Nithyananda and the activities of His mission, Life Bliss Foundation.
